Thanks to everyone who participated in the Georgia Co-op Academy this year. We had an awesome slate of cooperative educators who lead 26 participants on the journey of creating a co-op, utilizing the business model canvas and Start.Coop’s ownership model canvas! We were joined by Mavery Davis of New West Virginia and Financial Literacy Bootcamp, Ed Whitfield of Seed Commons, Daniel Fireside of Uncommon Capital Solutions, Dr. Yolande Tomlinson of Organization for Human Rights and Democracy, and Co-Directors Audrey Griffin and Ahzjah Simons of Georgia Cooperative Development center, just to name a few, who led us on an educational and inspirational co-op adventure into the process of start-up cooperatives.
